The philosophy behind our MBP

We are happy to introduce you to the new Modular (Back) Pack – Made in Germany!



We have received countless requests for a functional and sturdy bag, since our introduction of our first Stinger. But we wouldn’t be Steambow, if we would accept with a cheap branded solution.



We intensively thought about, what we expect from a suitable bag for our AR-6 Stinger II:

  • Discreet appearance
  • Compact dimensions, but roomy enough for the AR-6 Stinger II
  • Sturdy, rugged and water resistant
  • Modular customizable with M.O.L.L.E. Pals
  • Usable as a backpack and as slingbag
  • Wears comfortably even for a longer time
  • Transport of a shoulder stock with folding adapter, Stinger II main body and one or two bow limbs in separate compartments plus accessories
  • Organizer pouch for wallet, cellphone and keys (detachable)
  • Two Velcro panels for individual identification

To make this sophisticated become reality, we have teamed up with the German manufactory Zentrauron: A well-known manufacturer, who officially supplies gear to foreign and domestic agencies, with premium gear Made in Germany.



The result convinces at first sight and the premium materials stand for a long working life, starting with the Cordura® Polyamide 6.6 with a 1000 mm water column and impact resistant buckles made in Europe. The carrying system is completely made of breathable Mesh 3D, to ensure a maximum of comfort, even on a longer mission or high temperatures. The clou with our MBP is its modularity and functionality. Depending on your need or mission, the bag can be carried as a backpack or as a slingbag.



Depending on your purpose you can equip your MBP with optional accessory pouches to customize it to your personal needs. You can use it as your EDC pack, in school, at work, when traveling or when going to the gym. It is a discreet companion in your everyday life. The interior compartments accept a variety of compact laptop computers, tablets, books or documents.



These packs will accept our AR-6 Stinger II in the following configurations:

  • Tactical with quick detach bow limbs and folding stock adapter
  • Survival with quick detach bow limbs and folding stock adapter or with a detachable shoulder stock adapter
  • Compact with quick detach bow limbs

BACKPACK OR SLING BAG

When used as a backpack, it offers anatomically shaped shoulder straps. This carrying system additionally offers quick release buckles to drop the pack in a hurry or to put it on, while lying on the ground. It comes with a chest strap, that adds even more comfort.



But the real innovation is the second carrying system, that is included as well in that package, that turns the MBP into a slingbag, comparable to a messenger bag. This carrying method offers some advantages, that a conventional backpack doesn’t.



You can pull the back towards the front, when you want to have quick access to your cellphone or keys, without taking off the complete pack. But this can also be very helpful in a crowd, to wear it on front of you, to give pickpockets not chance. Even while sitting somewhere with a back rest, you don’t have to take your pack off.



At the top, there is an outlet for a drinking tube or cable. On the inside you have a compartment with a suspension for a water bladder.



The two outer compression straps allow for secure and tight lashing of the load, but can also be used to attach a rain jacket to the bag, for example.

This decent and professional color is known by an insider, but it does not appear to be aggressive. In this configuration the pack is also IRR / NIR regulated.



Steambow MBP black
